The European Union is actively phasing out the promotion of palm oil for fuel. Instead of supporting it, the EU has designated palm oil-based biofuels as high-risk for causing deforestation and has mandated their complete phase-out from renewable energy targets by 2030.

MORE SOLAR FARMS - I REALLY DON’T LIKE THEM

Because they turn the countryside into an industrial estate.
Here in the picture you can see them starting to destroy the countryside.

INVESTIGATING SOLAR FARM NEAR FRAMPTON COTTERAL

I really don’t like these Solar Farms. They are un-natural. They are mainly made of metal and glass and they don’t belong in the beautiful English countryside.
They are surrounded by barbed wire or metal fences and they block public access to the countryside.

    TYTHERINGTON QUARRY

Looks like quite a big limestone quarry used for building stone and lime mortar manufacture in Victorian times- there is a railway going through the village that could have been used to bring coal to burn the limestone.

    SOLAR FARM/PARK ALERT

    2

I’ve got a bit of a bee in my bonnet at the moment about solar farms. They’re supposed to be eco-friendly but in my experience, they’re just not!
The thing is, they surround the whole thing with chain-link fencing and barbed wire! When fields are part of a farm you can generally walk in them or around them but with solar parks they are surrounded by wire fencing that makes them look like a prison camp. Human beings and wild animals just can’t get in and local access to the countryside is diminished.
    I think there

…… When someone driving a car round the downs in the early hours of the morning spun out of control on this corner and careered over the cliff!!
This coming week people will be thinking about loneliness because it is National Loneliness Day or something like that.
Loneliness sometimes drives people to do desperate things.
Chat GPT has advised me that a good pitch for promoting noticeing.com might be to say ‘Lonely people meet here!’ but I don’t really get it!

The proprietors of the last hotel we stayed at told us that they are paying 24% of every booking to Booking.com so that, for instance, if you pay £100 a night to stay Booking will get £24 and the hotel £76.
Hotel owners don’t want to give this amount of money to the booking agent in which case they could try Noticeing.com which doesn’t charge anything.
If you want to stay at Hotel Mikos contact it through the Direct Messaging system stating the

We stayed at Hotel Mikos and it was very nice. Well positioned in Clifton Village and with a lovely view of mature trees and sky from the big bay window.   J

All this stuff about Electricity being Clean is rubbish it creates an industrial mess all over the country.
We need to be engendering power that blends in with the natural landscape. The design of this stuff is too large scale and industrialised.
    Small is beautiful.

……. We’re heading towards a bad place where the beautiful natural world given to us by God or whatever you choose to name the great, beautiful Universe, will be lost to a shabby, superficial, me, me, bunch of money grabbing corporate capitalists.

If we don’t challenge the corporate capitalist take-over of the Green Ecology Movement they will happily concrete over fields and natural places installing solar panels and wind turbines in the name of ‘Net Zero’. And they will happily take away the publics ability to access green space by putting up steel fencing and locked gates!
They don’t like the lovely cow parsley flowering, it doesn’t make any money!!!
