Scroll through Notices, add comments and vote them up or down.
Click the Compass icon, top right, to open the Control Panel where you can post a Notice, edit Notices, and receive enquiries about them.
Click the Crown icons to link to other screens, top left, to see Notices opening on a map and from below the Notice title to link to the Notice Comments Screen.
Find people with the same interests living nearby, comment on things going on locally, announce, buy, sell or recycle things or let people know about something you've ‘noticed’!
Noticeing uses your geolocation location as a form of ID so you don’t have to sign up to use it. There are no adverts, no data is stored on you and the voting system enables trashy or unpleasant notices to be voted off the network.
With Guy Fawkes Night (Nov 5) approaching, there are 22 major firework displays and bonfires happening in and around Bristol this year. From family-friendly options to large-scale shows with music and rides, there’s something for everyone.

SIMPLE THINGS FESTIVAL 2025 RETURNS 4-9 NOV WITH MAJOR LINE-UP
The acclaimed Simple Things Festival is taking over Bristol from Tue 4 to Sun 9 November 2025, with headline acts including Autechre (Thu 6 Nov) and Daniel Avery live (Fri 7). Venues such as the Bristol Beacon and The Prospect Building will host the events. The week blends electronic, indie and experimental music, offering a rich creative pulse to the city.

BACK FROM A LOVELY HOLIDAY ON THE GREEK ISLAND OF EVIA
We went to Evia, which nobody has heard of but is actually the second largest Greek island, because we thought it wouldn’t be touristy and that turned out to be exactly true!
Ryanair to Athens and the port of Rafia is quite close to the airport so we were over to Evia on the ferry the next day.
The Mediterranean Sea is so beautiful, lovely turquoise/blue colours, gorgeous little coves and beaches and warm and wonderful to swim in!

GREEN SPACE
Local authorities and health partners have signed a new pledge to shape healthier built environments in Bristol and surrounding regions. The initiative emphasises green space, active travel and community-centred design to improve public health.
BRING IN THOSE GERANIUMS OUTSIDE IN WINDOW BOXES, THEY DON’T LIKE THE COLD!!!
I was glad i remembered to bring in the geraniums i’ve had outside in a window box during the long hot summer, they don’t like the wet or the cold or the frost and bringing them inside gives them a new lease of life.

“31 THINGS TO DO” LIST HIGHLIGHTS BUSY HALF-TERM IN BRISTOL THIS WEEK
From 27 October to 2 November 2025, Bristol’s cultural scene ramps up for the October half-term. The “31 Things to Do” guide includes a sensory-friendly museum morning, a slime-making workshop inside the Bristol Aquarium’s “Greenhouse of Horrors”, a postcard-auction at the Royal West of England Academy and live music shows across the city.
