UPDATE

Over the last 4-5 days I’ve made a lot of minor improvements to the Map screen - the Marketplace. A blue border round the map that fits all screens, the same colour as rivers and the sea it kinda frames the predominantly green/brown of the map.

I’ve added a much better marker a compass marker rather than the blob! It looks cool. I’ve improved the post a notice drop down a bit. I’ve made the yellow button to open on location: you can relocate ie get the map to centre on the current location from there now rather tha

ABOUT THE NOTICEING MAP BASED MARKETPLACE

0 VOTE

It’s a way of finding people with the same interests or into the same activities living nearby! Finding local craftsmen, deals at local shops, things for sale or recycled, accommodation.

It’s a resource an archive, a yellow pages. If you’re interested in finding someone into walking, a plumber or a painter, just type what it is you’re looking for into the search and the markers will be highlighted.

It’s also a way when you are out and about of finding out where your friends or family are on an ongoing b

When you see a notice that you are interested in on the map based marketplace all you have to do to make an enquiry is tap the message bar and message the notice poster. You will see your message in the message drop down and the reply when it comes.

It’s more than a marketplace There’s an incredible search facility that highlights markers for posts that contain your keyword in their, text, their title or their name

The marketplace doesn’t show comments or replies it just shows personal messages or enquiries. It’s a transactional framework!

Think of a traditional marketplace where sellers find buyers
It’s different from the feed where Notices are shown in a timeline. Instead Notices open from markers on a map that is centred on your location.

BUILD HOUSES USING STONE:
A SIMPLE RULE THAT COULD IMPROVE OUR COUNTRY?

1 VOTE

The distillation of the wisdom gained from a lifetime spent in the building, stone masonry and landscape gardening businesses: Use local stone and aggregates to build houses and our country will become more beautiful, more organic and a better place to live.

Local v International. Who’s side are you on? International materials are the same wherever you go; concrete, glass, steel, asphalt, pvc. Local materials are different wherever you go, they have character, they are an ancient part of the world. Stone, the rock of ages, has nothing less than a spiritual value!

WHAT'S YOUR TAKE ON SOLAR FARMS ?

2 VOTE

On the one hand they seem good because they are a renewable energy source

on the other hand they are bad because they expand industrial/metal/glass environments into beautiful natural settings.

  Comment
Now I’ve heard it all! Bitcoin mining companies setting up next to solar power farms so that they can waste the suns energy making imaginary money!

  reply
The energy companies setting up the solar farms, say we are making electricity without burning oil or gas which is good, but they don’t say what they are going to do with the energy, make bitcoins! What guaranteeis there that the energy won’t be exported?

This is the colonisation of our countryside by International capitalism.

The government, people and the news media need to wake up. This is damaging our country, we need to defend it!
This might not have happened if solar panels weren’t so cheap!
11
  reply
There’s nothing wrong with the occasional solar but when you get thousands of them packed together it’s a disaster!
It’s not just gratuitous industrialisation of the countryside it’s also the privatisation of the countryside. Not only do they cover over the natural terrain with aluminium and glass they also put chain link fencing around it all so no one can access the fields anymore and then there are the surveillance cameras so it looks like a prison camp!

UK farmland value £7500-10,000/acre If farmers lease farmland to solar electricity generators what return would they actually get / acre leased?
The photovoltaic cells are made from silicon, component of silicate found in flint, glass and sand. This is quite a clean thing when compared with the potentially toxic materials used to make batteries.
20
  reply
Solar panels might seem like a good idea but the dried vegetation than grows under and around them can act as tinder and cause fires in hot weather. There are many examples of wildfires in California caused in this way which the energy supplier has had to pay compensation for and which, in order for the energy company to recoup some of it's losses, have led to California having the highest cost for electricity in the world.

They have the potential to spoil beautiful countryside.

Is it possible to make the solat panels more attractive?
Solar panels made of metal, glass and potentially toxic elements like cadmium are not what we want the countryside covered in
23
  reply
Actually there are different types of photo-voltaic cells: those made from silicone crystals and those made from cadmium-selenium. The silicone crystal ones are cleaner than the cadmium-selenium ones I think!

DEBATE ABOUT WAR IN THE UKRAINE

-2 VOTE

What do you see as the causes of the war and how could it be brought to an end?

  Comment
If the vote in the mid-term elections goes against the democrats in congress, republicans have been saying there should be no more government money for armaments for the Ukraine. That would change the situation and move things towards a negotiated settlement which would be a good thing!
19
  reply
One has to understand how the press and so called "learned articles" can be used by Washington working through the various institutes that can be called to comment on US television networks and in newspapers, one has to understand how this process can be used to demonise foreign leaders like Assad or Putin to domestic audiences in Europe and the US and this is used to justify the US led wars.
30
  reply
Until the War in Iraq I didn't realise the extent to which Jewish people in high positions and working as a group were influencing US foreign policy with significant consequences for people from other groups and nations. And that this was being done behind closed doors in a secret way.
22
  reply
Once you understand this understanding what's going on in the world today become much simpler.
Since February of this year the United States congress has voted for $80,000 Million worth if weapons to be shipped to the Ukraine. That means big profits for the American Military Industrial complex paid for by the American taxpayer.
27

It also means thousands of people killed or maimed and unquantifyable damage to property in the Ukraine.
It’s unbelievable how they can get away with this. They being the US neo-Con deep state.
The zealot Zelinsky, spawned by the Jewish oligarch funded TV series about …. I can’t remember what. Has been received favourably by media organisations like the BBC, who have given him free reign to spout his bollocks, and people believe he is a good person!!!! He represents a small faction of people living in the Ukraine. Many people living in that area are not articulate like some Jews and aren’t able to express their side oc the coin. The Cossacks said ‘Throw the Jew down the well” but they were virtually eliminated by the Jewish/Bolshevick red army after the Russian revolution. There are many factions in the Ukraine that Zelensky doesn’t give a flying F about and the Western Media doesn’t take the time to find out about!

The yids in Washington DC are responsible for the war!

They think because Russia supported Syria in the Middle East they need to weaken her or bring her under their influence in order to protect Israel. AIPAC
It’s totally incorrect the way Jews can say the Goyim annoy them when it virtually impossible to criticise Jews in America. I’m not sure why that is but the descendants of the English/British sailors who crossed the Pacific back in the day would have never believed that they would loose their power to another group who controlled the opinion disseminated through newspapers and the media.
A deal could be done with Putin/Russia to bring the war to an end if there was some agreement that Ukraine doesn’t join NATO but they can be part of the EU or something.

You keep returning to your tired old agenda which bears no relevance to the matter under discussion- the Killer in the Kremlin’s brutal invasion of a peaceful sovereign state
23
  reply
It is not a “ war” rather a murderous invasion of a peaceful sovereign state by the Killer in the Kremlin, the brutal dictator with gallons of innocent blood on his hands. Do you. Not remember British citizen Alexander Litvenenyko, killed with polonium 210, a substance only available to KK , killer in the Kremlin. I could go on to list the many poisoned, defenestration, shot (Boris Nemykov), shot & poisoned (Anna Polykovskaya), hanged, poor old Beresovky, - or how about the destruction of Grozny - I could go on but you won’t listen - this psychopath cares nothing for human life, particularly that of his own people who he sends to the slaughter on a daily basis. Putin’s Russia, kleptocracy & police state - what sort of person can defend this monster’s actions
22
  reply
Your demonisation of Prince of Darkness Putin - fyi - no need to demonise a proven mass killer is there now - & world’s number one kleptocrat - he’s had plenty of mud thrown at him and he acts as a smokescreen for the hidden agenda of the Washington deep state.
How can you work out what the causes of the war are when all the information you find on the news is “disinformation” (or highly suspect )!?
37
  reply
Certainly, back in the day, the information we got on the News was “True” and from a cohesive group that we knew had the Nations best interests at heart, now, we don’t know where it is coming from!
Imagine you’re a meerkat, you want the warnings you get from your lookouts to be correct? Look at today’s corporate media news, they don’t want you to know what’s going on, they just want to blind you with celebrity gossip, withhold the truth and hope that you won’t realise what’s actually going on!
I see the cause of the war Ukraine being advised that it can become part of NATO if it wants to. Russia/Pufin haz said many times that would be an existential threat to Russia because that would enable NATO to place missiles on the Ukraine/Russian border that would reach Moscow in 6 minutes. The US has already set up a missile site in Romania!
25
  reply
NATO is basically the US and if they had missiles on the border to Russia they could hit Moscow from the Ukraine the follow up with troops coming through Ukraine. The same way Napoleon and Hitler went. The US could then do a “regime change” and install thei r people in strategic positions of power!

First reply to Comment No 1: That means no need for registration, email confirmation or remembering passwords!
Second replay to comment No 1: No need to remember a password that you have been forced to create with additional letters and numbers you forget. Let's face it one of the reasons apps are popular is because all your login details are stored in the app so you don't have to remember them all to login.
Third reply to Comment No 1: There's no need to sign up or login to use Noticeing because it uses your location as ID. It does all that stuff under the bonnet so to speak, the only thing is you have to be in the same location if you want to access your personal editing and messaging facilities.
