Your marker doesn't show your exact location it shows your 'fuzzy' location which can be up to 2 streets away from where you actually are.
For additional privacy you can choose not to show your markers on the map then people will only be able to find your Notices on the Timeline (click the crown top left to go to Timeline). This is an additional safety feature but you can have fun with it if you like!
Choose Map Style:
Check box below the square [mobile] marker or the circular (home/work) broadband markers then OK to see only Notices posted from mobiles or only Notices posted from a broadband connection.
If you're buying something or finding a tradesperson the circular 'broadband connection' markers are more trustworthy because their location is confirmed.
